One of these, about half way through, looks like my friend John’s studio: Roland VS-880, Kaoss Pad…but the majority strikes me green with envy, it’s true. Although I bet the guys with racks of outboard gear were probably into the home recording stuff prior to the advent of some of the computer technology we have today. I accumulated a bunch of outboard gear until I started recording on a computer, VST, AU, and MAS compatible. Once that happened, the outboard gear just stopped completely.
